The emergency period (legislation) has been extended to March – this means that maintenance deadline continues to be 6- days compared to 7 days.
Our contractors are working hard to catch up on maintenance delays we have been experiencing since mid December. The workload started to creep up late last year, and of course our tenants’ requests continued during the break and the first few weeks of 2021. We have received numerous calls from a few of our preferred contractors (we have 4-5 for each industry) advising us that they have been inundated with work thanks to a variety of government grants, and as a result are unfortunately running a little behind.
We’d like to let you, our valued tenants, know that we completely understand your worries and concerns, and that you need your maintenance to be done as soon as possible. We thank you for your understanding and patience so far, and thank you for sticking with us through this busy time!
We have a lot of systems in place to avoid these circumstances, and our property managers are working hard on your behalf to get you the maintenance you need as soon as we possibly can!
