What’s Happening at Absolute: 5 Highlights From This Quarter
Darwin’s most experienced real estate agency, we’re passionate about giving our tenants, owners and vendors the exceptional service they need to get the most out of their properties. 1. We went to the REINT Awards
The Real Estate Institute of Northern Territory - or REINT as they’re also known - is the organisation that our industry looks to for training, innovation and understanding about what it means to be a qualified and skilled property professional in the NT. A few weeks ago, Absolute attended the REINT Awards for Professional Excellence, where all of our Property Managers and Sales Agents were nominated in their respective categories for Public Choice Salesperson of the Year and Public Choice Property Manager of the Year.
It was a fantastic night to celebrate the efforts of our team and get all dressed up. We’d like to thank everyone at REINT for having us and putting on a great night. We also send a big congratulations to our fellow nominees and of course, the winners for 2023!
2. We celebrated birthdays and work anniversaries
In team news, our Property Managers Jo Duncan and Tania McKenzie both celebrated their birthdays in September and October with lots of love (and cake) from the Absolute office. Tania also celebrated her 5-year work anniversary with Absolute. Well done to Jo and Tania, we are so lucky to have you both working with us!
3. We welcomed a new team member Mik Grist
A few months ago we welcomed our new Leasing Manager, Mik Grist who has been a great addition to our team!
Prior to making the jump to real estate, Mik was cooking up a storm in an impressive 15 year hospitality career as head chef in the mines in a FIFO worker position. A tough but rewarding role that required the ability to adapt, manage time and stay organised, Mik’s love of people and care when working with his team each day is a testament to his character, and reflection of a capable, proactive worker.
He is a self-confessed people person who holds honesty and integrity as his most important values. Mik is someone who is driven to problem solve, lend a hand and find the best possible outcome to suit all parties. To learn about our latest rentals for lease, visit our website here.
